NUSTAGE policy

PRIVACY POLICY

How NUSTAGE handles personal data and privacy requests

Effective date: 7 September 2026
This policy reflects the current NUSTAGE production setup and will be updated if checkout, delivery or data-processing arrangements materially change.

1. Who is responsible for your personal data

NUSTAGE is operated by Manikandan Kamalesan, who is responsible for determining why and how personal data is processed for the website, digital-product sales, delivery and customer support. Principal business address: 3/617, Kaaliyappa Chetty Colony, Pidamaneri, Dharmapuri – 636701, Tamil Nadu, India. Customer-care contact: +91 98598 58866 and support@nustage.in. NUSTAGE does not sell personal data.

2. Personal data we may collect

Depending on the action you take, we may process: your name; purchase email address; customer-care phone number if provided at checkout or support; order, payment and transaction references; product purchased; purchase and delivery timestamps; download or access status; refund status; consent or policy-version records; support messages; and limited technical, security and access logs generated by our hosting and delivery systems. For licensed fulfilment, the delivered PDF may also contain the purchaser or licensed-user name and an order/licence identifier.

3. Why we use personal data

We use personal data only for specified purposes such as: completing a purchase; verifying payment; delivering the digital product; restoring legitimate access; handling refunds, complaints and support; protecting the website and customer records; preventing abuse or fraud; maintaining required transaction and security records; administering the Individual Licence and deterring unauthorised sharing through a limited licence stamp; and meeting applicable legal, tax, accounting or regulatory obligations.

4. Notice, consent and withdrawal

Where consent is the applicable basis for processing, NUSTAGE will present a clear notice describing the personal data requested and the purpose before consent is obtained. Where applicable, a person may withdraw consent through the same support or account channel without affecting processing already lawfully completed or records that must be retained by law.

5. Payment information

When checkout is enabled, payments will be processed by Razorpay or the payment provider displayed at checkout. NUSTAGE does not ask customers to send card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, OTPs, passwords or authentication codes by email or support message. Payment providers may process information under their own privacy and security obligations.

6. Service providers

The planned production architecture uses Netlify for website hosting and delivery, Razorpay for payment processing, Supabase for customer/order/access records and private digital delivery, and an email provider for support communication. These providers process information only for the services needed to operate NUSTAGE. This page will be updated if the final production providers materially change.

7. Data minimisation and retention

NUSTAGE aims to collect only information reasonably needed for purchase, delivery, support, security and legal compliance. Data is not kept indefinitely merely because it was collected. Transaction, delivery and security records may need to be retained for a minimum period under applicable law; where the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules require such retention, relevant processing records and logs will be retained for the required period and erased when the purpose and legal retention requirements have ended.

8. Security safeguards

NUSTAGE uses or plans to use measures appropriate to the production setup, including HTTPS, access controls, restricted administrator privileges, server-side secret storage, payment-signature verification, database row-level access controls, logging and monitoring, backups, and private or time-limited digital-file access. No internet service can promise absolute security.

9. Personal data breach response

If NUSTAGE becomes aware of a personal data breach, it will investigate, contain and remediate the incident and provide notifications to affected individuals and the competent authority where required by applicable law. Customers should report suspected account, purchase or privacy issues promptly to support@nustage.in.

10. Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask for information about personal data processed about you, request correction or updating of inaccurate information, request erasure where retention is no longer required, withdraw consent where applicable, raise a grievance, and exercise other rights available under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act and rules as they come into force. To help identify a purchase safely, we may ask for the purchase email address and order or transaction reference; never send passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs or full card details.

11. Privacy requests and grievances

Privacy and data-rights requests may be sent to support@nustage.in. The named Grievance Officer is Manikandan Kamalesan. Customer-care mobile: +91 98598 58866. We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and provide a response or meaningful status update within a reasonable period.

12. Children and student users

The Student Success System may be useful to people under 18, but the current launch does not require a child to create a personal account or provide unnecessary personal data. Purchases for a minor should be made by or with the involvement of a parent or lawful guardian. If NUSTAGE later introduces child accounts or other processing of a child’s personal data, the relevant parental-consent and child-data safeguards will be implemented before that feature is enabled.

13. Cookies, analytics and advertising

The initial website does not intentionally use behavioural advertising trackers or advertising cookies. Essential hosting, security and payment infrastructure may use technical mechanisms necessary to provide and protect the service. If optional analytics or marketing cookies are introduced later, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before they are enabled.

14. International processing

Some technology providers may process or store information outside India. NUSTAGE will use providers and configurations subject to applicable Indian data-protection requirements and any transfer restrictions that apply at the relevant time.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the production architecture, products or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current published version.
